I know I am supposed to be “absolutely knackered” – but something strange is happening – and I’m not…
So, “restless and excitable of Wymondham” is bursting with energy and ideas…
And what has emerged this morning – during a treatment – is that I want explore using a new gentle, meditative approach to colonics. Through developing my work incorporating a castor oil pack into a colonic treatment, I have seen again and again how creating a restful, snuggly environment – wrapping patients in blankets while they cuddle a hot water bottle as the castor oil works its magic – how this enables the body to release, and gives fantastic results.
This morning I experimented with combining the “snuggly blankets” with diaphragmatic breathing and using my experience in meditation and The Journey to help people to drop into a meditative state – whilst receiving a colonic treatment. The idea is to use less water, less movement, and, instead, to facilitate the body to release through breathing techniques, meditation, visualisation – and stillness.
I realise that this approach may not suit everyone – and it may take less water- but it takes more time – so I have decided to make it a separate treatment – and charge £75 instead of £65. But, if any of my existing clients currently in the middle of a “three treatments for ___” deal would like to try it out for no extra fee – they’d be most welcome 🙂
