” I am really interested in people. Each person I see is different – and fascinating to me! I am very inquisitive: over the last 19 years of running a therapy business I have asked endless questions – I started as a massage therapist and then moved onto colonics.

I found through asking questions I could sometimes spot patterns in people’s symptoms and issues with their health, and, over time, I have built up a wealth of knowledge – easy to understand, practical approaches to help people to live more healthily and more comfortably in their bodies – and the feedback I get, from clients, about the difference colonics and dietary and lifestyle changes have made to them – makes this my dream job!”

I  have trained extensively in anatomy and physiology – for bodywork, for my nutrition diploma and lastly as part of my colonic training.

I completed my initial practitioner’s certificate in 2003, added colon hydrotherapy practitioner training in 2009,  followed up by a postgraduate colonic course in 2010  – both with the National College of Colon Hydrotherapy.

In 2013 I attended an Advanced Course in Colon Hydrotherapy certified by The International Association and Register of Integrative Colon Therapists and Trainers.

My premises are regularly inspected to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and safety are observed.

In March 2014 I was selected to be part of A.R.C.H.‘s inspection team: visiting the premises of colonic therapists and checking that rigorous hygiene and professional standards are observed.  In July 2014 I joined the A.R.C.H. committee as Membership Secretary.

I also became a member of the other leading professional association for colon hydrotherapists in the UK RICTAT

In Autumn 2016 I became a grandmother  – and – because our children all live in the beautiful county of Yorkshire – two in North Yorkshire and one in West Yorkshire – we decided to relocate,  and start a new chapter of our life – up North.

So in April 2017 I opened my new colonic clinic tucked at the back of our new home in Thornhill Edge, West Yorkshire.
